When: April 10, 2018 from 9:00am-4:00pm
Where: Memorial Union, 236 (Mohave)

Meeting of the Minds is a research symposium that showcases the scholarly efforts of Black graduate students along with other graduate students of color. Meeting of the Minds offers these graduate students the opportunity to present their research and receive feedback from educators and other graduate students. Upper level graduate students who have previous experience presenting at research symposiums are also invited to participate. Presentations range across the sciences, social sciences, humanities and arts. Presentations are given in two formats. Posters give researchers a chance to engage with all individuals attending the symposium and to network with other interested researchers. Oral presentations give researchers the chance to present in front of an audience along with a question and answer session. This event also serves as a rehearsal for doctoral candidates and near future conference attendees.

● Posters can be no larger than 36″ X 48″

● Oral Presentations will be 20 minutes followed by a 5 minute Q&A session

Applications are due January 12, 2018.

We invite graduate students and educators to join us as we support those selected to present.
