Preparing Future Faculty
Preparing Future Faculty (PFF) is a nationally recognized professional development program for doctoral and MFA students, as well as postdocs, interested in pursuing a faculty position upon graduation or completion. Students learn about the many roles of faculty members (research/scholarship, teaching, service) and are given an insider’s perspective by distinguished faculty and administrators at ASU and other institutions.
Graduate Writing Centers
ASU Graduate Writing Centers offer a dynamic, supportive learning environment and programs for ASU graduate students enrolled in any graduate certificate or graduate degree program.
The Versatile PhD is a web-based resource for members of the ASU graduate community interested in exploring non-academic career options. It is open to ASU faculty, staff, and graduate student alumni who are within one year of finishing their degrees. The Versatile PhD consists of a supportive online community that is free as well as a premium content area. The Graduate Education office has purchased a subscription to the premium content area to provide access to both.
Centennial Professor Awards
In the 1984-1985 academic year, the student governments of ASU began raising funds to establish an award honoring emerging academics from the ASU “junior” faculty based on their outstanding leadership and instruction both within and beyond the classroom. From this vision came the Centennial Professor Endowment Fund. Learn more.
