Grad Appreciation Week

Grad Appreciation Week 2013

Monday, April 1st – Friday, April 5th, 2013

CHECK OUT OUR CALENDAR OF EVENTS

Each spring semester, GPSA partners with the Graduate College to co-host a series of workshops and social events to recognize the outstanding efforts of our graduate and professional students. The culminating event, the Grad Picnic, on Friday, April 5th is an opportunity for graduate students to network with peers, faculty, staff, and administrators. Students who have received travel or research support funding from GPSA may choose to share their work at this event; participation in this event has been instrumental in the generating of new ideas and forming interdisciplinary research teams to support future research.

We encourage Graduate Student Organizations  to host additional events for graduate and professional students during this week. These events may include special lecture series, professional development workshops, and interdisciplinary networking or community outreach events.

Read more about the history of Grad Appreciation Week by visiting the National Association of Graduate and Professional Students (NAGPS) event page.

More details on specific workshops and events will be added in the coming months.
