MLFTC Saturday Scholars Free Event on Measuring Teacher Performance
Please join the MLFTC’s edXchange initiative in hosting ASU’s very own Dr. Audrey Amrein-Beardsley on Saturday, May 10, 2014 from 10am-11:30am in the Education Lecture Hall (Tempe campus). This free public lecture explores value-added models used to measure teacher performance. Dr. Beardsley will also be discussing her new book, “Rethinking Value-Added Models in Education: Critical Perspectives on Tests and Assessment-Based Accountability.”
This topic is particularly relevant to future teachers and those who research teacher education. Please feel free to share information about the event with any undergraduate classes you teach, and through your K12 school connections and ASU student organizations.
